Walk: Stone Ends Farm, Carrock Fell, High Pike, Knott, Great Calva, Swineside, Mosedale

Distance:  13 miles Ascent:  3,000 feet
Weather: A fine but cloudy day, very warm
Accompanied by:

Comments: A steep climb to begin with followed by more gradual ascents and descents. The ascent to Great Calva was steeper and the descent was quite a sharp one. A long trek back along the valley.

The initial climb is quite steep but not technically difficult

Time for a pause on Carrock Fell

There is a bench on High Pike but you have to be quick to get a seat
