Walk: Sadgill, Shipman Knotts, Kentmere Pike, Harter Fell, Gatescarth Pass, Sadgill
Start Point: Sadgill Grid Ref: NY 583 057
Distance:  8 miles Ascent:  2,300 feet
Weather: Sunny and warm, windy on top
Accompanied by:

Marie, Andrea, Gill & Shep

Comments: An easy walk with some spectacular views of Haweswater, but the route down Gatescarth Pass is stony underfoot and can become a little tedious. However, we were treated to the spectacle of children on a ghyll scrambling trip at Cleft Ghyll.
