Walk: Hurst Green, River Ribble, confluence of River Calder and River Hodder, Hodder Place, Stonyhurst College
Start Point: Hurst Green Grid Ref: SD 685 379
Distance: 7.25 miles Ascent: 600 feet
Weather: A sunny but rather humid day
Accompanied by:

Joe and Beth

Comments: After battling through the tall weeds, and checking our height, we made our way along the river bank.  After passing Winckley Hall Farm the route became more varied and Joe took charge of the directions for a while. We decided to return to the playground in Hurst Green to eat lunch.

I wonder how many steps there are?

We'll count them on the way up!
