Walk: White Moss car park, Loughrigg Fell, Loughrigg Tarn, Red Bank, weir, car park
Start Point: White Moss car park Grid Ref: NY 350 065
Distance:  5 miles Ascent:  1,500 feet
Weather: A dull and cold day, hazy in the distance
Accompanied by:

Marie, Andrea, Gill and Shep, led by me

Comments: A short stretch on Loughrigg Terrace before climbing the engineered path to the summit. A good route down to the tarn with a couple of steeper sections. A varied walk back with the opportunity to paddle in Grasmere - Shep was the only one to partake of the waters! A good half day's walk giving time for shopping in Ambleside afterwards.

Looks like they have been renewing the bridges round here

The mist is just clearing off Lingmoor Fell

Shep tries to give Marie his stick

How can Shep get his stick from there?

Across Grasmere to White Moss Common

Marie chooses a rock to pose on . . .
