Walk: Sawley, Bank Bottom, Higher Asker Hill, Beacon Hill, Lower Heights, Broad Ing, Bolton-by-Bowland, Skirden Beck, River Ribble
Start Point: Spread Eagle car park, Sawley Grid Ref: SD 777 465
Distance: 10.5 miles Ascent: 1,280 feet
Weather: A dry day with some sun
Accompanied by:

13 members of the group

Comments: This was almost the same route as last week, which had been a recce for this walk. The snow had cleared, which made walking much easier but not as picturesque. The covering of frost and hard ground made the possible muddy sections easier to navigate. The walk was followed by a meal at the Spread Eagle and was enjoyed by all.
