Comments: Having completed this walk in snow (10th January), I wanted to see what it was like without the snow. As it turned out parts of the route were very muddy. I changed the route in a couple of places: previously we had taken a wrong turning just before Whitehall Farm; to try out a different path past Ryal Fold.

On the earlier walk the seat wasn't visible at this point as it was covered with snow . . .
