Walk: Salterforth Bridge, Letcliff Country Park, Folly Lane, Weets Hill, Star Hall, Duck Pond, Lister Well Road, Salterforth Bridge
Start Point: Salterforth Bridge Grid Ref: SD 887 453
Distance: 7 miles Ascent: 1,250 feet
Weather: Mild but misty at higher levels Time: 3 hours
Comments: The small parking area is easy to miss - on the right just before the bridge. After a short walk along the towpath I headed along paths through fields with quite long, lush grass - which was also rather wet! At Letcliff Hill there was another very suitable parking spot as this area is part of a country park. After navigating through a few fields I headed along a clear track to the trig point on Weets Hill. Unfortunately by this time the mist had closed in and there were no views to be had. A short stretch on the Pendle Way took me to the turning for Duck Pond - where there was no sign of a pond but some very large heads. From here the route descended gradually along tracks and field paths to the car park.
