Walk: Drinkwaters, Great Hill, Great Hill Farm (ruin), Heapey Moor, Wheelton Plantation, Goit bridlepath
Start Point: White Coppice cricket club car park Grid Ref: SD 619 190
Distance: 6.3 miles Ascent: 880 feet
Weather: Cold with some sun Time: 2.5 hours
Comments: Looking for a short local walk I decided on Great Hill then across to Wheelton Plantation. It was a very cold day but quite pleasant out of the breeze. The Plantation was awash with autumn colours and the return beside The Goit made for easy walking.
