Walk: Witton Weavers Way, Stones Bank Plantation, Turton Heights, Cheetham Close, Turton & Entwistle Reservoir, Cadshaw, Duckshaw Clough, Hollinshead Hall
Start Point: Belmont Road car park Grid Ref: SD 665 191
Distance: 14 miles Ascent: 2,000 feet
Weather: Overcast with some rain Time: 6.75 hours
Comments: The route followed the Witton Weavers Way along good tracks and across moorland paths, passing a couple of reservoirs and walking through woodland. There were good views for much of the walk and though some of the showers were heavy they didn't last for more than about 10 minutes. An enjoyable walk that needed some demanding navigation at times.
