Walk: Snowhill Lane, Nicky Nook, Grizedale Reservoir, Grizedale Bridge, Barnacre Moor, Woodacre Pasture, Tithe Barn Lane
Start Point: Scorton Grid Reference: SD 501 487
Distance: 8 miles Ascent: 1,280 feet
Time: 3.5 hours
Weather: Sunny and warm
Comments: Marie and I took advantage of a good forecast to revisit a popular walk over Nicky Nook to Grizedale Bridge, returning through woodland and across Grizedale Beck. After the ascent to the trig point the route follows easy paths over the moorland and descends steeply through the woods.
