|Walk:||Snowhill Lane, Nicky Nook, Grizedale Reservoir, Grizedale Bridge, Barnacre Moor, Woodacre Pasture, Tithe Barn Lane|
|Start Point:||Scorton||Grid Reference:||SD 501 487|
|Distance:||8 miles||Ascent:||1,280 feet|
|Weather:||Sunny and warm|
|Comments:||Marie and I took advantage of a good forecast to revisit a popular walk over Nicky Nook to Grizedale Bridge, returning through woodland and across Grizedale Beck. After the ascent to the trig point the route follows easy paths over the moorland and descends steeply through the woods.|
