Distance: 11 miles Ascent: 2,900 feet
Time: 5.5 hours
Weather: Sunny spells with a cold blustery wind
Comments: Checking out a proposed route for a group walk a number of changes were needed. It became a day of navigating new possibilities. The fields were very wet making difficult walking at times.

Llamas seem to be . . .

seen more frequently in the countryside

known as 'The Eaves'. It will be a family home with a bed and breakfast business.

Crossing the field from Cold Coats a few sheep thought I was bringing food . . .

so a few more (around 60) decided to follow

Fortunately they eventually realised I didn't have anything for them!
