Walk: Grasmere shoreline, Landing Stages, Red Bank, Rydal Water, Steps End, Rydal, Coffin Route, White Moss
Start Point: White Moss car park Grid Reference: NY 350 065
Distance: 6.2 miles Ascent: 1,100 feet
Time: 3.5 hours
Weather: Cold wind but mainly sunny
Comments: The first walk for Luna in the Lake District. She thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of running off lead for much of the time and even had a quick dip in Grasmere. Following the Coffin route back from Rydal we were able to enjoy the sun before returning to the car.

It's rather cold to be out on the water . . .

Interesting tree

Rainbow . . .

- sign of drizzle across Grasmere?

Luna shows her balancing act . . .

before trotting towards me . . .

there seems to be a leg missing!

Grasmere . . .

and again at the opposite side of the islands

Returning by the Coffin Route . . .

Luna enjoys some exploration
