Distance: 14 miles Ascent: 1,400 feet
Time: 6.25 hours

Comments: First walk with group for some time. Good tracks and field paths. A better place to park would be roadside near the station or in the station car park if allowed.

Just after Cow Bridge we joined the Ribble Way for a short stretch

The sign says: Warning Archery in Progress . . .

but they must all be hiding in the shelter!

A narrow bridge . . .

provides the focus for a photo

A 17th century house still has a well - but what's on the end of the ropes?

The Ribble Way rejoins the River Ribble where a duck takes her babies for a swim . . .

and two drakes . . .

spend some time together

Crossing the footbridge from the Ribble Way into Settle

The Aliens have landed near Lambert Lane??
