Walk: Manor House, Norcross Wood, Ox Hey, Falicon Farm, Frances Green, Elm House, Tan Yard Lane
Start Point: Home
Distance: 6 miles Ascent: 312 feet
Time: 2.2 hours
Weather: Quite hot
Comments: A few problems on this walk. A field of wheat nearly waist high and rather wet, broken stiles and footbridges with holes in them, then a bunch of very inquisitive bullocks. I'll change the route for next time!!

The path can just be seen heading from the telegraph post . . .

through this field of wheat

The stile into Norcross Wood needs attention . . .

as does the bridge . . .

and the next stile!!!

After crossing Hothersall Lane it's great to see a new stile . . .

and gates

The bullocks were in this field last time I was here

They crowd round the stile to welcome me . . .

but I know there's another stile nearby so I can avoid their field this time
