|Walk:||Foulsyke, Low Fell, Fellbarrow, Loweswater|
|Start Point:||Foulsyke||Grid Ref:||NY 141 214|
|Distance:||6.5 miles||Ascent:||1,600 feet|
|Weather:||It was bright to start off with but there was a strong head wind and snow after Low Fell. We had a heavy snow shower as we left Fellbarrow but the weather had improved by the time we reached Loweswater.|
Marie, Andrea, Gill & Shep, led by me
|Comments:||We enjoyed walking straight from the cottage but there was a stiff climb in snow before too long. The head wind and snow was unpleasant between Low Fell and Fellbarrow. Shep gathered snow on his fur and these eventually made it difficult for him to walk so they had to be removed. The weather improved by the time we reached Loweswater and we had a pleasant walk back to the cottage.|
