| Start Point: | White Moss car park | Grid Ref: | NY 350 065 |
| Distance: | 5 miles | Ascent: | 1,500 feet |
| Weather: | A dull and cold day, hazy in the distance | ||
| Accompanied by: |
Marie, Andrea, Gill and Shep, led by me |
||
| Comments: | A short stretch on Loughrigg Terrace before climbing the engineered path to the summit. A good route down to the tarn with a couple of steeper sections. A varied walk back with the opportunity to paddle in Grasmere - Shep was the only one to partake of the waters! A good half day's walk giving time for shopping in Ambleside afterwards. | ||

Across Grasmere to White Moss Common
