On my own

Comments: Despite a forecast for a foggy day, I headed out to Bolton-by-Bowland and was rewarded with sun all day! Having been in this area on Sunday I was not surprised at the amount of snow still around but all the roads were clear. After Hungrill the path had been re-routed to miss out Wycongill and the directions were not clear. At Blue Scar Wood it was difficult to find the path as a hurdle had been put across the gap in the fence and it wasn't clear that the hurdle could be moved. Walking beside Monubent Beck was very picturesque but in the snow it was difficult to follow the path at times. Despite the navigation difficulties it was a good walk and a very enjoyable day.
