Walk: Robin Lane, Jenkin Crag, Waterhead, Borrans Park, Ambleside, Stockghyll Force, Wanfell Pike, Wansfell, Nanny Lane
Start Point: Chruch bridge, Troutbeck Grid Reference: NY 412 027
Distance: 8 miles Ascent: 2,240 feet
Time: 4.5 hours
Weather: Sunny and mild
Comments: Repeating a route done a number of times, the distant views were hazy but the sun kept the temperatures very mild. Passing through Ambleside I made a short stop at Gaynors Outdoors shop to buy some new walking trousers. Then the harder part of the route took me up to Wansfell Pike and on to the Wainwright, Wansfell. It was then downhill all the way back to Troutbeck.
