Walk: Worsaw End, Worston Moor, Scout Cairn, Ogden Clough, Big End, Downham Moor, Lane Head, Downham Beck
Start Point: Downham car park Grid Reference: SD 784 440
Distance: 7.1 miles Ascent: 1,658 feet
Time: 3.3 hours
Weather: Cold wind initially and on fell top, becoming sunny and warm
Comments: Enjoyable walk, interesting to see the restoration work that has been carried out. Very busy on the summit.

Pausing on the ascent to look back over Clitheroe before . . .

arriving at the Scout Cairn

A new (for me) path with netting on the bare peat . . .

and 'log' rolls to prevent erosion

No machinery today!!

Ogden Clough . . .

from where a clear path leads to the summit

Timber dams mentioned earlier

Black Moss Reservoirs . . .

and Lower Ogden Reservoir from . . .

a very busy summit
