Walk: Waddow Hall, Brungerley Bridge, Sculpture Trail, Ribble Way, West Bradford, Brocklehurst, Hancocks, Feezer Farm, Waddington Memorial Gardens
Start Point: Twitter Lane car park Grid Reference: SD 726 435
Distance: 8.2 miles Ascent: 705 feet
Time: 5 hours including 2 stops and navigation problems
Weather: Mild with sunny spells and a cool breeze at times
Comments: This route was taken from Walks in Lancashire Witch Country, walk 17, but was adapted to park near the football field in Waddington. The route was difficult to follow at times and many sections were overgrown with some wet sections. Not a route I would want to repeat.

As the Crow Flies, the four compass points of North South, East and West

Lords and Ladies, a representation of the plant that can be found on the trail

A good footpath follows the sculpture trail

The otter, made from limestone, was commisioned to highlight the development work of the Wildlife Trust

The Ribble King was inspired by the familiar Kingfisher bird found throughout the year on the river banks

Leaving the sculpture train the route now follows the Ribble Way . . .

and the cows kindly left the path clear at Bradford Bridge!

The ideal spot for our first stop

Crossing a large field the bullocks decide to join us . . .

but found they couldn't cross the stile . . .

and just gathered to watch us leave

The Memorial Gardens in Waddington . . .

are the ideal place for our second stop.
