Walk: Wyre Way, Little Thornton, Stanah
Start Point: Wyre Estuary Country Park Grid Reference: SD 355 430
Distance: 5 miles Ascent: 124 feet
Time: 2.5 hours
Weather: Sunny and hot
Comments: A walk with Marie beside the Wyre Estuary using the Wyre Way, road and footpaths. The tide was out so sections that would be muddy when the tide is higher weren't a problem.

Approaching the landing stages . . .

we can see Hambleton Bridge in the distance . . .

and a wide array of boats

A detour at the end of the walk brings us to the salt marshes
