| Comments: | This walk was planned to explore Greendale Wood en route to Beacon Hill. This woodland area was developed to commemorate the millenium in 2000. and a dedication of a quarter of an acre was given to me as part of my 80th birthday present. It seems the symbol associated with turning 80 is the oak tree, representing strength, wisdom and resilience. Note: the stile at Till House was extremely difficult to navigate and would have been impossible with a dog if I hadn't got a friend who could halp me lift the dog over. |
