| A television series called Ancient Tracks included a walk along The Portway from Nottingham to Castleton. I planned to follow this route but after some exploration I found that it wasn't possible to find accommodation along the way. Consequently I planned circular walks taking in the more interesting aspects of The Portway plus a couple of walks in the Dales. |
