The HF House, Alltshellach . . .
has great mountain views . . .
and is situated on the shores of Loch Leven . . .
across the bridge from Ballachulish
From Torlundy the route heads up the Allt a Mhullin valley then on to the Carn Mor Dearg Arete
From the Arete there are good views back down the valley
Half way across the Arete and the mist closes in . . .
and covers the summit of Ben Nevis
The weather wasn't any better two years later when I added the walk onto The West Highland Way walk . . .
this time taking the 'tourist route' up and down!
