Heading across the fields from Airton we pass Hanlith Hall . . .

and spot some Shetland ponies

Malham Cove comes into view

Two young lambs - but why is one in fancy dress?

Ray and John are keen to get to the cove . . .

and keep well ahead of the group . . .

all the way

I wonder if they fancied a bit of rock climbing . . .

rather them than me!

Heading up Watlowes - where are the 'Cowboys and Indians'?

Looking back down Watlowes

Approaching Gordale Beck we find another limestone gorge

This one leads past the higher waterfall . . .

to Gordale Scar
