Scroll down to see photos of the walk
On the southern flanks of Pendle Hill . . .
the ladies lead the way up the first climb
Passing Sabden Fold a couple of peacocks . . .
are spotted on the gate
A quick descent is made when they hear us . . .
but more are found around the corner
Mist still hangs . . .
in Sabden Valley . . .
but the sun tries to make an appearance as we stop for 'elevenses'
Taking the path through Fell Wood . . .
the mist returns amongst the tress
Emerging from the Woods above Lower Ogden Reservoir . . .
where we find a memorial stone seat
Reaching the summit - Kath inspects the muddy patch left by a passing dog!
Lunch is taken in the shelter of the wall on Pendle Hill - with views of - MIST!
