Walk: Blindhurst, Bleasdale, Winny Bank, Fiendsdale Head, Fair Snape Fell, Saddle Fell, Wolfen Hall
Start Point: Fell Foot Grid Reference: SD 601 442
Distance: 12 miles Ascent: 2,150 feet
Time: 5.5 hours
Weather: Sunny spells with a very cold wind on the higher fells
Comments: With the recent cold weather the ground was frozen, making potentially muddy sections easy to navigate. The shelter on Fair Snape Fell has been rebuilt, giving good shelter from strong winds but the size is a bit of an eyesore. Heading towards Saddle Fell I lost my GPS but after backtracking I managed to find it before coninuing with the walk. What a relief!!
