Walk: Springs Farm, Scott House, Stoneygate Lane, Moor Nook, Cutler's Hill, Old Clitheroe Road, The Newdrop, Moor Hey
Start Point: Manor Cottahe, Knowle Green
Distance: 6 miles Ascent: 800 feet
Time: 2.75 hours
Weather: Dry with a little sun
Comments: The beginning of the walk was quite picturesque but, as expected, the fields were boggy. Careful navigation was needed as there are many footpaths to choose from.

Quite a drop from the path to the stream . . .

which has deep, steep banks

An autumn scene in the woods

Some interesting properties on the route . . .

with access by the ford . . .

but I'll take the bridge

The field barn . . .

has some impressive crux beams

Huntingdon Hall . . .

which was in existence in the early part of the 17th century

The sun breaks through the cloud . . .

as I walk along the Old Clitheroe Road . . .

and past the Newdrop Inn

Follow the leader

Glad I don't need to cross here!
