Distance: 7.7 miles Ascent: 558 feet
Time: 4 hours
Weather: Mainly sunny and mild
Comments: A low level walk taking in a total of five bridges though Cromwell Bridge was viewed but not crossed. Edisford Bridge was of particular interest with 5 of its arches being partly hidden.

Hodder Place, a Grade II listed building, once a preparatory school for Stonyhurst College, now divided into flats

Edisford Bridge, Grade II listed. There are a total of nine spans varying in width, with four arches crossing the river channel and a further five partly buried arches but not all can be seen here
