Walk: Heys Lane, Roughlee, Stang Top Moor, Upper Black Moss Reservoir, Aitken Wood Sculpture Trail
Start Point: Barley car park Grid Reference: SD 823 403
Distance: 5.5 miles Ascent: 855 feet
Time: 3.5 hours including time spent investigating the sculpture trail
Weather: Light rain to start then cold and overcast
Comments: With a dry but cold day forecast we expected there would be lots of people out walking. However, we were suprised to find that the large car park and surrounding roads were absolutely packed. It was really fortunate that we spotted a car just leaving! The main purpose of the walk was to visit Roughlee and the Pendle Sculpture trail where we found many of the sculptures.
