| Ian and Sheila joined me for a week of walks mainly in the Western Fells to tick off and/or re-visit a few more Wainwrights. We stayed in a cottage just south of Cockermouth but would probably look for a different accommodation for future visits. Concentrating on the summits closest to our location we completed walks from low level easy walking on a rather wet day to scambling en route to high level walking on better days. |
