Walking in the Drakensberg Mountains

Time for something new this year, and I eventually decided on a Ramblers Worldwide Holiday to the Drakensberg Mountains in South Africa. With the holiday booked, and the research done, all I had to do was wait for the allotted date. Eventually 4th April arrived and I was on my way to Heathrow, via the shuttle from Manchester. A few hours later and dinner was being served on our 11 hour flight to Johannesburg. After a sleepless night it was time for breakfast and a morning arrival in Jo'burg. The group gradually gathered around the leader, George, before boarding the coach for our transfer to Cathedral Peak Hotel.
